My gr gr grandparents were James and Helen Ramsay Dean who were living in the Birdstown area of Co Donegal in the mid 1800's. They had five children--3 boys and 2 girls. Their sons James and Henry went to the United States in the early 1850's. James is my gr grandfather. We have learned that one of the sons and both daughters stayed in Ireland. We would like to find out who they were and where they lived, etc. The son may be Allen Dean who leased land in the Birstown area in the mid 1800's. Gr grandfather married Sarah Todd in Philadelphia. Sarah, her sister Lydia and her brother George were born in Buncrana, Co Donegal and also went to the United States in the mid 1850's Their father was John and they had a brother James Todd that stayed in Ireland. We would like to know more about this family also.
