POWs ITALY : I hope to contact some of the ex-POWs my family helped in Northern Italy in 1943/4 ( The Dall'Arda Family, Castell'Arquato, PC ). They were released following the Armistice of September 1943 from camps including PG 49 ,Fontanellato, 29 Veano and 55 Busseto. Many reached Switzerland or Allied lines. I would be very pleased to hear from ex-POWs in the Parma / Piacenza area or their relatives, or from anyone with knowledge of escapees there.
