REID FAMILIES-
I am looking for information on, or descendants of my great
great grandfather, Christopher Reid, possibly born in the
Dublin area, 1854 or earlier. He had at least one son named
James Christopher Reid, born around 1872 (Dublin?). James
Christopher was supposed to have been a member of the Irish
Guard but that has not yet been confirmed. James moved to
Lambeth, England, where he got married and had nine children.
His marriage certificate states he was a machinist and
Christopher was a stonemason. Christopher was deceased by
the time James was married (1898). I would appreciate any
help on researching this family.
