Would love to hear from descendents of LENNON & FARRELL.
James Lennon(Linnane) married Ellen Farrell and their
daughter Anne was born about 1823 in Co Wicklow, possibly
Baltinglass.
James and his wife Ellen, daughters Mary, Anne,
Margaret and Ellen and son Michael - travelled to Australia
arriving per 'Great Britain' in Dec 1839.
James proceeded to Penrith north of Sydney and a job with
the police. Anne had a job as a nurserymaid.
Would love to know more about the family before they left
Ireland because both James and Ellen were in their 50s when
they came to Australia.
