Looking for any Mckaig's as I am trying to do my family tree. Having a terrible time..ggrandmother Jane Copeland married Hughie McKaig. Surname has several different spellings. gggrandparents were Mary and Benjamin Copeland. Not sure if Hane and Hughie lived in Lanark County in Ireland or Ontario Canada..Cannot find any records. Grandfather James McKaig married to Jane Harris. They resided in Wallaceburg Ontario Canada. My dad Irah McKaig married Genevieve Richie and had 6 daughters. They lived in Wallaceburg for the first 2 years of my life and moved to London, Ontario Canada..Hope someone can help.
