My paternal gt.gt.grandparents were John Killen (born abt 1822), a blacksmith, and Ann McLoughlin (born abt. 1821). I believe they originated in Co Down - possibly Newry - and left for Liverpool during the 1840s. I know John had a brother Patrick who married Frances Dempsey in Liverpool. Does anybody have a Killen family in Newry - or any part of Co Down, where we could share information and hopefully find a connection.
