ALLAN.
Iam seeking any information re. the above family names both from Ballymena. Margaret Letters was born c.1851 and she may have had a sister Lucy. William Allan was born c.1849.
They were married in Dundee,Scotland on 12/2/1869. Margaret was seven months pregnant at the time of the marraige so this could be a "black sheep" search. Either Margaret or William were supposed to have five brothers all of whom emigrated to the U.S.A. Very sketchy information but as Letters is a rare family name and as the current generations are largely still based around Ballymena I am hopefull a link can be made. Any links or information would be gratefully received.I am their great grandson.
