I am researching the Field Porter family, Quelch and Dabell (spelling may be incorrect). The Porter Family sailed to Australia and New Zealand in the 1800s, the Quelch family worked for the Royal family in England and the DaBell had escaped France with their heads in tack during the french revolution (and changed their names) - or so I have been told.
