SMITH(SMYTH)/McPHELEMY/RUSSELL/O'LOAN-Seeking info on Patrick Smith b~1803 probably in Ardstraw Parish in Co. Tyrone, married Rose Russell (b.~1820) in ~1840. Had 12 children (b. 1840-62):Mary, James, Henry, Patrick, Edward, Kate, Sarah, Roseanne, John, Owen, Margaret and Annie. Patrick taught at Lisnacreaght Nat'l School in Lisnacreaght Townland in Ardstraw Parish. The Smiths immigrated to Lawrenceville area of Pittsburgh after 1862, where Patrick died in 1876 and Rose in 1882. Son Henry married Margaret, daughter of James McPhelemy and Ann Loan (O'Loan) of Dunteige Townland. McPhelemys had 9 children: James, Elizabeth, Margaret, Ann, Francis,Patrick, Roger,Alice and Mary. The McPhelemys immigrated to Lawrence MA in 1865, and then settled in Buena Vista, CO by 1872. Would like to know the name of ship, port of entry and date that Smiths/McPhelemys entered US. Would also like to know more about their lives in Ireland. Patrick and Rose's oldest daughter married a McGuire of Beragh in early 1860s. Any help is appreciated.
