Hello,
WILLIAM [Willie] WRIGHT is my grandfather on my mothers side of the family. On his Birth Cert. which was hand written is the name of his mothers maiden name as: Eliza Beattie, but on his mothers death cert. his fathers name is Beatty. He was married to Cecelia Anna Patz, whose lineage is from Austria.
Father to William WRIGHT: ROBERT WRIGHT born on 8/15/1843 died on 2/4/1911 in Mass.
Robert Wright was a foreman in a flax mill in Killyleagh County Down, Ireland. He and his family came to the United States when his wife's
mother died in Lonsdale,R.I., USA.
Father to Robert Wright: WILLIAM WRIGHT born in Co.Down Ireland.
William Wright was a gentleman farmer, he owned a large farm near Dublin, Ireland. He used to have big dances in his barn at the
end of the season when all the hay was in.
Mother to Robert Wright: MARY GRAHAM born in Co.Down Ireland. Nothing is known about her family.
Mother to my grandfather, William Wright: ELIZABETH BEATTY
born in 1858 in N.Ireland and died: on 6/17/1927 in Mass.
Elizabeth Beatty's father: JOSEPH BEATTY and her mothers name was ROSE LOVE, both were born in Edinburgh, Scotland. Joseph Beatty migrated to N. Ireland along
with his wife. He was married twice. His first wife died. There were two families, and one family moved to Canada and the other one we lost track of. My great aunt Emma used to correspond with one cousin in Canada but we don't know who that was. It was written down that Joseph Beatty was a descendant of Lord Beatty.
This is all I have on my Wright side of the family right now but am still doing searches on the Wright name. I don't have any dates at all for Joseph and Rose. If you have any of the names in your ancestry please E-mail me.
