I am looking for data on Charles William Duncan and his wife
Marianne Ewen. Charles was born in 1800 and Marianne in 1806. We believe they came to Charleston, South Carolina
from Ulster, Ireland. Looking for Charles & Marianne's
marriage--also names of Charles Williams two brothers who
came with him to America. The Duncan's were originally from
Scotland or Wales and as we understand it had a Duncan Clan
in Scotland or Ireland. Marianne (Ewen) Duncan died in
Louisville, KY in April 1836 of childbirth. She is buried
in Louisville.
Any help you can give me on either the Ewen or Duncan family
would be sincerely appreciated.
