I am seeking information on my wife's Crofton and Farrell ancestors from Ireland. I am trying to establish whether Richard Crofton and Edward Crofton, both who came to the U.S.between 1845 and 1850, possibly from County Carlow, are brothers. Parents are believed to be Thomas Crofton and Elizabeth Terrell. Any information that would establish relationship and parentage would be appreciated.
Matthew Farrell came to the U.S. from County Meath, possibly in the late 1830s or early 1840s. Married Catherine McMullin in Jackson, Miss., but she is believed to have been born in Louisiana. Interested in knowing parents of Matthew or Catherine and any other information that would reveal something of their ancestry.
