I was born in Northern Ireland on 6/23/52 and was adopted immediately and was taken home from the hospital by my new adoptive parents, Eleanor and
Gerald Martin who lived at 434 Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast. I believe my birth mother's name was Edwina Angus. I had been placed in the Belfast newspaper
for adoption and as far as I know her brother had made the orginial contact with my adoptive parents. Think her family might have lived in Co. Down and been cattle ranchers.
I think she was 16 at the time of my birth, so would be approx. 64yrs old. I was told she kept contact with me for the first year but upon the court hearing for the final
adoption papers the judge had told her that "this child can have only one mother". She was never seen after that. My adoptive parents are now deceased and I would love to
find her. I would really appreciate any information on her and her whereabouts. Just want to let her know she has two beautiful grandchildren. Don't intend to disturb her
life.
