I would like to find birth mother, Margaret Harte, born 1907,8 in Eire, or family of same. Both my much-loved adopted parents are now dead. I am 58 and have three children of my own aged 36, 35, and 28, and the 28-year-old is married. Margaret Harte, was a schoolteacher from Eire who lived at 4 Queen's Road High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and was also a teacher/ housekeeper in the area? I was born at St Mary Abbot's Hospital in Kensington on 11 June 1942 and named Margaret Harte. The name of my godmother was Josephine Downing. After some three months fostering in the St John's Wood? area, I was adopted by Nicholas and Doris Phelan in Christchurch Hants UK via The Crusade of Rescue. In some trepidation and praying that God will guide those involved to reveal themselves or not as they see fit. The children, living in UK, Australia, and USA would like to know of their origins, too, and are of course curious about their medical histories/ likenesses/etc... with regard to my side of the family.
