i am looking for information about my grandfather who lived in lostock hall nr preston. he worked on the railways around 1940/50. his name was george weatherby.his father also called george lived and worked in the same area and worked on the railway.my grandfather had a sister called emily who was married to will bennett who was a railway gaurd and they had a son william who was a locomotive fireman.
