PATRICK MCCARTHY. My family is trying to find any relatives of my Grandfather. Born Patrick McCarthy around 1889 in either County Cork or Clare, Mother was Susannah.
He had a brother Jim who went to America and a sister possibly also Susannah who had three sons.
He joined the British army at the age of 14 years and was in either the 8th Royal Irish or the Enniskillen Fusiliers.
He only has two daughters living and they would like to meet other family members.
Patrick settled in Liverpool and married Julia Agnes Brady from Slane(?) at St Mary the Angels church in Everton, Liverpool. Please contact me with any info and make two ladies very happy. Thank you.
