Looking for info on my gg/grandfather ANDREW MAHON born in Ireland 1836. Andrew enlisted July 1854 in the 21st Foot Fusileers, Regiment of the British Army, at the recruiting base in Dublin. He served in the Crimean War and afterwards served in Malta, Barbados and Demerara. He took his discharge July 1864 in Demerara, where he married Georgeana (her family name is unknown) and they had two children: William in 1863 and Matilda in 1869. Any help regarding my ancesstor ANDREW MAHON will be gratefully received, especially info on his birthplace in Ireland.
