ALEXANDER (ALISTER) GEMMELL, dob 1897-1905 in Scotland. Mother was Maria nee Vance GEMMELL.dob 1865 in Ireland. married ALEXander GEMMELL (dob 1865) in Greenock Scotland in July 1892. When young Alex was a babe, Maria took him and fled to Ireland. Possibly Ballymena, Antrim. Was rumored that young Alex became a constable. Would like to contact anyone knowing the family and if young Alex married and had children. We've traced the rest of the Gemmell family but no one seems to know what happened to MARIA and young ALEXANDER. He would of course be deceased by now, but there's always the possibility of descendants. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
