BURNS AND WHITTIER families.
Thomas Edward BURNS(b.1827, d.1903) and Frances Mary WHITTIER(b.1837,d.1918), originally from Ireland, came to Canada around 1849. Sailed possibly from Galway Bay with other siblings. Looking for other family branches from their siblings either still in the UK or in Canada.
They had 11 children in Canada: John, Edward, William(b.1862), Mary(b.1864), George, Thomas, Chris, Charlie(b.1874), Dorcas(b.1878), Alexander(b.1879), and Francis(b.1881). Most of their children settled in Ontario, on Manitoulin Island with them. Looking for info on them as well.
