Searching ancestors of James Gunning and Margarett Goodman.
James emigrated U.S. 1840/44 and Margarett about 1835. Married in Vt. 1850. His naturalization papers say he came from County Longfort - she never naturalized. Were in Vt. in 1849/50 and Essex County NY sometime in the 1850's. How can I find his parents in Longfort? And the ship he sailed on? Thanks
