Looking for the birth date/place, parents, and siblings of my ancestor Robert STODDART born about 1752 allegedly in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Ireland. He supposedly went first to Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland, and then to Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He may have also been in Chester County, Pennsylvania. I find him around Carlisle in 1789 although he may have been there earlier. He eventually moved to Moon Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, around 1800.
Also looking for birth date/place, parents, and siblings of Robert Stoddart's wife Margaret (allegedly SEETIN). She was born in Ireland - probably in the 1760s (1st child born in 1789). Robert and Margaret were married in the U.S. but I have not found a record.
Also in Moon Township, Allegheny County, was a James STODDART or STODART who married a Nancy RILEY (both from Ireland). I cannot determine if there is a connection between Robert and James.
Would love to hear from anyone who has information on the above.
