Looking for information about the BOWEN family from Llanelli especially my grandmother who i have never met.Have only traced family as far as my greatgrandfather THOMAS GRIFFITH BOWEN who married SARA or CLARA LUNT or LUNDT.THOMAS was born in the area of Llanelli and SARA in Liverpool. They had two children that i know of JOHN BOWEN and my grandfather ARTHUR WILLIAM BOWEN.ARTHUR married DORIS PETERS and they had four children DAVID WILLIAM (TAFFY) BOWEN, DOROTHY BOWEN, THOMAS HENRY BOWEN, MARY BOWEN.Doris had sister BRONWEN who lived in Llanelli untill her death.THOMAS GRIFFITH BOWEN had three sisters MATTY BOWEN, HANNAH BOWEN, GLADYS BOWEN also a relative GERTIE BOWEN who lived in Llanelli untill a few years ago and now lives in a home and is 106 years old.DORIS BOWEN left around 1942-1943 and was supposed to have last worked at the old pickle factory in Llanelli before marrying possibly a military man(airforce)and possibly scottish and moving away.I know there is an EILEEN who is my mothers cousin still living in the Llanelli area.JOHN BOWEN was reputed to be a Proffessor.ARTHUR WILLIAM BOWEN remarried to MABEL ROBERTS and moved to Hemel Hempsted in England and remarried again to a scottish lady called NELLIE HAMILTON.Ant information regarding any of the people mentioned especially my grandmother DORIS would be much appreciated.Thank you.
