ALFORD, Robert Jeanes ALFORD of Neath(born Catcott, Somerset) listed as a flour merchant in 1881 census. Father of Eva ALFORD who married William GRIFFITHS and migrated to Australia. RJA married to a SARAH (?)who is buried in the Llantwit cemetery. Interested to find his date of death. Interestingly on Eva's death notice her father is listed as Richard Alford , a clerk but we have Eva's mother's death notice sent from Wales listing the father as Robert Jeanes Alford.
