Trying to research family of Peasant John FREMAN and wife Sarah HALES (birth and marriage dates yet unknown). They had a family of 14, one of them being my great grandfather Charles Henry FREEMAN, born Rhyl, Wales January 28, 1852. Other known siblings are John, George and Emma. The family came to Canada in 1858, and first settled in Ontario. Although Charles Henry's birthplace is listed as Wales, a newspaper clipping (that describes their 50th wedding anniversary)mentions that he was from Rutlandshire, England. Now I am not sure where to look. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
