BUDD FAMILY DESCENDANTS, CARDIFF, WALES. My grandmother, Fannie Frances Keating (married Hiram B. Warren), had a sister, Annie Keating who married Louis (Harry) William Budd. I would like to contact the BUDD descendants to see if they know more about my grandmother's mysterious back ground. The parents of Fannie Frances Keating were John and Bridget (Mathias) Keating, apparently of Bristol, England. There is some evidence to indicate most of the children were in an orphanage for whatever reason. Fannie came to Saint John, New Brunswick,Canada in 1906, and her sister Nellie (Keating) Trecartin followed. The oldest sister, Annie (Keating) Budd was apparently brought up by the grandmother Mathias. This information was given to Emily (Trecartin) Black, daughter of Nellie Trecartin by Renee Budd, daughter of Annie (Keating) Budd. Hope this doesn't sound too complicated. Anyway, when I was young, the Budd family members (I think?) sent me small gifts from Wales to Canada and I have always wondered about these people. I have some photos now and even see some resemblance to myself around the expression of the eyes! I live in Bear River, Nova Scotia, Canada and would absolutely love to know more about my distant relatives. By the way, Fannie Frances (Keating) Warren died in 1978.
