Looking for information on EZEKIEL WILLIAM DAVIES born Nov. 17, 1862 in Newport. Married Rebecca Anne Sadie Bogan (Quigley) in San Francisco circa 1897/98 Ezekiel had a brother "john (jack) thomas davies (or thomas john davies) who was reported to have moved to Galveston, Texas in 1882.Married Mary ??? from 1916-1919. Ezekiel was the son of THOMAS & ANNE (GRIFFITHS) DAVIES who lived in Llargammarch in Brecon County (govwydd # 72) married 1834 in Pembroke. Ann Griffiths was born in Llanrian, christened july 2, 1826. Living in Newport in 1871-1881 in the "HOUSE OF TEMPLE" (4 houses together within 1 mile of town) with family of Thomas/Annie DAVIES were: (Ages in 1871) Eliza G, aged 18- Sarah Ann aged 14- Ezikiel William aged 8 Catherine Melima aged 5 Emmanual Roy 10 months Living in the same area were John Griffiths (widower) aged 67 in 1871, unmarried daughter Sarah Griffiths aged 46- Grandchildren Martha Jane Davies aged 8 years Mikel George Davies aged 4 years. I plan to be in Wales this year. Any information anyone might have would be graciously appreciated.
