Re:Owen Jones(1824-1893). Owen was born in Trefriw. Son of Robert and Jane Jones. In an orbituary poem by E. Thomas (Gwylfryn) for Jane Jones(nee Owens)there is the verse:
'Aeth y newydd am ei diwedd
O dan arwydd amlen ddu
Draw i gyrau Patagonia
A'r Americ-cartref llu'
Presumably, Owen died in Patagonia. I would be most grateful to hear from anyone who may have information about my Great Uncle or members of his family.
