BEECHAM or BEACHAM - I am looking for more information about my gr,gr grandfather, Thomas Beecham and his first wife Eliza Coles who moved to Mountain Ash, Wales from Coleford, Somerset before 1861. Thomas and Eliza had 9 children - Sarah,Louisa, Emma Mary, Albert George, Ellen Maria, Frederick John Rose Ann and 2 other females. Thomas later married Elizabeth Williams in Mountain Ash and had 6 children probably born in Aust. They migrated to Australia (Brisbane) about 1874 with children from both marriages.My gr grandfather was Frederick John, born in 1861 in Mountain Ash to the first marriage. He married Charity Gilbert in Brisbane in 1884.
