searching for any descendants of the REES family(many of the men became medical doctors!) Emigrated to England, Bermuda and South Africa. In particular looking for parents of Amelia REES - emigrated to Quebec City (?when)
married - Henry Brotherstone URQUHART (from Scotland) had
a son- b. 1833, - Henry Peter Weston URQUHART. Amelia died
1834, Henry died 1837. Who raised the son? Oother family
relatives; Dr. Fredrick A. REES (education in Scotland) emgigrated to Bermuda. Dr. Frederick REES Jr. -b. Bermuda,
emigrated to South Africa; William Rees, Medical Doctor - and Superintendent of Ontario Provincial Lunatic Asylum- died in Toronto 1874. Hon. Josiah REES, Chief Justice of
Hamilton. Anyone linked to this line? Would love to have
any data and willing to share what I have so far.
