Hanny Family.....
This family we think came from Bradford Apon-Avon,Wiltshire U.K. Also Ireland and Cardiff,Wales.
Arthur Hanny entered the Navy and gave his birth date & place as being 2/9/1863 St Mary's Cardiff. This we know is not correct.
He married Margaret Hayes and after leaving Ireland where My Nan, Margaretia Mary Hanny was born at Hawthorn Terrace,Cork in 1904. They lived at 245 Penarth Rd,Penarth Wales. Margaret died in 1909 and Arthur later married Emily David and continued to live at the same address until Arthur died in 1919.
There is a Frank Hanny[?] he's related somewhere,and he was last know at St Mary's Convent,North Hyde,Southall,London. U.k in 1918-1922ish,he left and gave his fowarding address as Fort McDuff,Co Tipparary Ireland.
Frank could also have been know as Francis.
