Dear All
Tony Blair has issued a White Paper (a draft of a bill to be presented to Parliament). There is not
very much in it for birthparents - he is still not allowing birthparents the names of adoptees but
adoptees are allowed names of birthparents.
Please write to him to get him to open records for birthparents to make all our searches easier.
Please tell him we birthparents are unable to pass on important medical information. We want a
chance to tell our children we love them. We don't want to disrupt lives.

Please - if you only write one letter this year, please write to
Tony Blair Prime Minister of Britain - we may never get another
chance to change the law in favour of Birth Parents (First Parents)
