My name is Leonard Charles Amos.I am trying to search for my friend who i knew in 1944.As far as i know he would be roughly 71 years old by now.He lived in the East End of London back then,but unfortunately we got evacuated.Although it was a tough time,we became friends.We hugged eachother and let eachother know we was going to be alright.I don't really know much about him to say the least,apart from his name is (was) Tony,we was evacuated to a place called Rymney,South Wales.His family was killed in the war.If this sounds familiar to any body who may be called Tony,or know of any one who this could relate to,please could you get in touch.I am now 68 years old,and i may have been called 'Len' for short back then.I would be so grateful if i get any response from this.
