Looking for information on Richard COUGHLAN (aka Coughlin, Coughlain, etc); b. ca 1745 (poss Wales, England). While attending Edinburgh University he took passage on a Boston trader and came to America. He landed in Boston sometime between 1760-1770, married Sarah PEACOCK from MA, and settled in Chesterfield, NH in 1771. His father's name may have also been Richard and his mother's given name may have been Esther.
