Searching for my grandmother's family MEREDITH, Glascum, Radnorshire,Wales. According to the 1881 Census.
Jane Meredith,(grandma), born November 5, 1870
Brothers, Thomas, William, John, and James, Sister Mary,and Elizabeth. Their Mother's name was Jane (?) as well
All I have is a small leather covered book " Llyfr Emynau, Wesleyaidd" All in the Welsh language.
Can anyone please tell me what exactly this book is?
Also just where is this place in Radnorshire and does it still exist today. If so, what do people do for a living there.
I believe the Meredith family were farmers
Grandma Jane went to London where she met and married an Englishman and they then came to Canada to live in 1901. All touch with her family was lost over the years.
