PEMBRO - There must be someone dead or alive who has this name in their family tree. They came from the Mynydisslwyn, Mommouth, St Woolas, Ricsa & Ysddndu? areas. Some of the men worked at the quarry's around these towns. The male names are WILLIAM, THOMAS, GEORGE, MARK JOHN, TOM, MATTHEW, JOB and the ladies are ELIZABETH, MARY, MARY ANN, HANNAH, LOUISA? (MAYBE LUCY) SARAH, & ANN. Most of the PEMBRO men seem to have married ANN'S and most of the PEMBRO'S called their children exactly the same names !!!! MARK JOHN PEMBRO is of special interest to me as he was my Great Great Grandfather - he left Wales and went to the SOUTH AFRICA GOLDMINES and made his fortune there - but who did he marry and where ?? MARK JOHN retuned to the U.K. and moved to the Forest of Dean and had two sons but with who I cannot find. Can anyone help? I am told some more modern day Pembro's are LANGLEY, STANLEY, WILLIAM & GWENDOLINE could be more who knows - do you ??
