NEW REQUEST FOR EDWARDS FAMILY FROM CAE HOWEL UCHA, LLANFOR, WALES

NEW REQUEST FOR EDWARDS FAMILY FROM CAE HOWEL UCHA, LLANFOR, WALES.

Leah JONES born about 1847 married to Robert EDWARDS born about 1841.

Robert, a quarryman in 1868, later became a farmer in approximately 1877.

Robert and Leah married on December 19, 1868 in The Tegid Chapel Bala in the district of Bala.

The witnesses at their wedding were listed as John and Daniel JONES, possibly Leah's relatives.

Leah's place of residence at the time of marriage was Felin Cleltwa--I am not sure of the spelling.

Robert's place of residence at the time of marriage was Cae Howel Ucha. Leah's father's name was David JONES, he was a farmer. Robert's father's name was Rice EDWARDS, he was a farmer.

Together, Robert and Leah EDWARDS had:

Mary born 1869 in Llangwm, Denbigh.

Rice born 1873 in Llanderfel, Merioneth.

Margaret born 1875 in Llanderfel, Merioneth.

Catherine born 1877 in Llanderfel, Merioneth.

David born July 2, 1881 at Caehowel Ucha, Llanfor.

Ann born and died February 17, 1883 at Caehywel, Llanfor.

The twins John and Evan born November 20, 1885 at Caehywel Llandderfel.

Their dwelling was listed as Cae Howel Ucha in the 1881 census.

Mary had a son named Evan John EDWARDS born April 10, 1888 at Caehowel Ucha, Llanfor.

Thank you for your time. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
