I am searching for information on Robert Stewart Murray who came to Canada in 1925, from Scotland. He was followed a year later by his wife and children in 1926. They landed in Canada in July of that year, arriving on the ship called the Matagama. I have some information on the family but it is very minimal. Roberts' wifes name was Jessie Hood Craig Sloan(e), and when she arrived she had 3 children with her. Any information farther back than that is very sketchy and I haven't been able to trace it. I was told by my grandmother that they were of the "Murray's of Tullibardin(e)" but haven't been able to locate anything else. Robert served as a sniper in the Black Watch during WW I. I do hope that someone out there can help me. as I said the information I have is sketchy but there is a bit more that I haven't posted that can be compared later. Thankyou in advance, Heather King
