ALEXANDER
Looking for William Alexander, my GGGrandfather. Probably from Edinburgh. Family may have had grocery store. Settled in Clinton County, Iowa in 1839. Probably came to the US between 1837-1839. Purchased land in 1841 in Iowa. Married Maria Hall in 1847. Had one son William in 1849. Died in 1850.
