GEORGE CAMPBELL a sea captain who sailed the ferry from Stranraer to Larne in the mid-late 1800's is my paternal great grandfather. His son, ALEXANDER HUGH LEWIS TAYLOR, is my grandfather. His daughter, ANNIE CAMPBELL,never married. I want to know George's information-ever mentioned in descriptive data re the ferry service? Sea rescues? I don't know my GGMother's name or anything about her. Alexander fought in the Boer war and was wounded. He became a dentist, and received his education at Edinburgh University. He married my grandmother, Emily Crawley, in Vancouver BC Canada in 1913.
