Searching for the Scottish family of my great grandfather John Paterson born c. 1813 in Lanark or possibly Minto Roxburgh Berwickshire . His father John Paterson , Mother either Janet or Christian . John thought to have a sister who was living in Falkirk in 1833 , her name unknown . John Paterson arrived in Australia in 1834 .
