I am looking for information on the ancestry and decendants of
William Rutherford, born about 1770 who married Cathrine (Christian) Service.
She was born in 1774 in Northumberland, England. To my knowledge they
had 5 children - Mary, Janet, Thomas, Georgius & William, all of whom
were born in Morebattle, Roxburghshire, Scotland.
Thomas married Janet Hall in 1803 in Jedburgh and they emigrated to
Canada in 1829.
William married Mary ??? and emigrated to Canada in 1830. Marriage may
have been in Canada - I have no actual record.
