YVONNE THERESE (nee) PAPINEAU, born Feb 14th 1948. Parents: Emile M. and Margaret Papineau (nee Cleary) may have come to London from Malta in the 40s. Sister ELAINE C. b. Nov/Dec 1949. Brother MICHAEL K. born 1956 - all in UK. The girls were about 5'2" tall with straight dark brown hair and slightly olive skin.
1961(?) - 63, parents ran "THE PANTILES," a tea room/filling station with outdoor swimming pool on A30 at Bagshot, Surrey; then '63-64, "The Gaiety Cafe," London Rd. Camberley. From about 1961 to Easter 1964, the girls attended Frimley and Camberley County Grammar School, Camberley, Surrey. Easter '64 the family moved to London. In October 1971, at Acton Town tube station during morning rush hour, Yvonne got off a Piccadilly Line train from Rayners Lane direction and boarded an eastbound District Line train to Ravenscourt Park. She may have been working, or at college in that area.
None of the family are listed in the Papineau family database: www.GED4WEB.com/index.htm., nor in UK electoral roll or marriage records. Possibly emigrated. Does anyone in Ravenscourt Park or NW London remember Yvonne, or know where she or her family went?
