ALEXANDER STRACHAN/MARY YOUNG RITCHIE, I am looking for information on my great grandfather named Alexander Strachan. All I know is he was born in Scotland in 1857 and died in the USA (Oregon) in 1942. His father 's name may have been Thomas. He married a Mary Young Ritchie who was also born in Scotland, circa 1857. They had a daughter, Helen Phillip Strachan (born in Kansas 1880) who was my maternal grandmother. I am loooking for any and all information about Alexander Strachan and Mary Young Ritchie, especially ancestors of these two people. Can anyone help me?
