Looking for any information on Archibald MacCallum who was born on the Isle of Tiree around 1840. Immigrated to the United States possibly Canada first but don't know date of immigration. Lived in Alpena, MI in the late 1800's and worked as a blacksmith. Married Christian MacDonald in Alpena. They had two children, Charles Daniel McDonald MacCallum and Mary Ann MacCallum. My grandmother, Margaret Janet MacCallum Kingsinger used to write someone in Scotland possibly around the Glasgow area. Does anyone know anything about Archie MacCallum or have any information about MacCallum's that left Tiree and moved the area around Glasgow?
