I am looking for relatives of my Grand Grandmother. Born in Islington Middlesex London England on March 10, 1880. She immigrated to South Africa during/about time of the Boer War. She went to Africa as a nurse. She married Arthur James Norton and one of her sons Arthur James Norton was my Grandfather. We know nothing other than she was born "within sound of the Bow Bells" (she was cockney) and that she was baptised at St. Martins in the Field.
I would very much like to trace her line.
There is an Edith Mary Brown shown in the 1881 Census but they have her listed as 5 months old which does not match her birth date (she would have been 1 year old at time of census).
Anyone that can help I would be very greatful.
