I am looking for my great uncle. His name is Christopher Legge. He lived in Thornbury, S. Glos, Approximate year of birth is 1937, his mother was known as Betty, his father is Reginald. Christopher was taken from Thornbury by his mother when his parents marriage split (aged about 6), but there was no forwarding address left, and his fathers family never heard from them again.
Christopher lived at Rock Street most of the time with his grandmother, Matilda Legge, and went to The Council School, Gillingstool along with his cousin (my mum)Margaret Smith, he may also remember cousins named Sidney and Stanley (Smith). Some of the aunties and uncles he may remember include Winny, Horrace, Joyce and Harry. We would dearly love to hear from him. His father thought he spotted Christopher in Bath about three years after he dissappeared, but was unable to get close enough to confirm it was him.
