hi everyone, i am searching for my birth mother, kathleen killeen from southern ireland, who gave birth to me on the 10th march, 1945 at hope hospital in manchester. i was given up for adoption to wonderful parents, mr and mrs anderson. i have tried to trace my birth mother over several years and i have had no success so far. kathleen worked as a servant at a house called highwayside, at bowden, cheshire and as far as i know she was only a teenager when she gave birth to me, the irish records i have searched have turned up 2 kathleen killeens one from sligo and one from borrisokane, co. tipperary. if anyone knows kathleen, i would love dearly to hear from her or any relatives connected to her. kathleen registered me as patrick francis, but my parents changed my name to terrence peter. best wishes to you all.
