I have just found out the people who adopted you kept your first name RICHARD and they also adopted a little girl called ANN who was about 4-5 years older than you.
Your adoptive mother whos name was Cathy i think died of a brain haemorrhage when you was younger.I was also told you moved from Birmingham to the cotswolds.
