JACOBINA WILSON, BORN 1745 IN MOST, AYRSHIRE, SCOTLAND
I can find no information on a place named as Most, Ayrshire. Is this possibly an error made in her immigration records? There are many ancestors listed from Ayrshire, but she is my direct line. I plan a visit to Ayr in the coming months and would like to be able to explore more about them. |

Trying to find parents/siblings of William Gardner
b @ 1805 Dumbarton, Dunbartonshire Scotland.
He was a 46 yo Tailor Journeyman living in Glasgow Lanark in 1851.
His wife Marion possibly Tennant/Tennent was 40.
The children were: Marion, Mary, George Jemima,
Elizabeth, William Jean.

| I am looking for information on a James Brown/Broun born in about 1705 most likely in Ayrshire. I have recently been told by a distant relative here in the US that he was told that the Browns often used the name Lamont to escape conflicts with the Campbell clan. Does anyone have any information pertaining to this? Although I noticed that Brown was a sub set of the Lamont Clan I did not find any info suggesting that the Browns used the name Lamont instead. |

I am trying to trace any Cochrans who are or were clock makers in Scotland. Robert Cochran my great Uncle moved from Northern Ireland about 1860 to Glasgow he was a watch maker but had a number of sons who became watch makers but I havent been able to trace any of them so wonder if anyone can help me locate a present COCHRAN watch maker in Scotland.

Could anyone tell me about Rita Adlum who lives or lived in FarFor,I think her husband is Malcolm?
I would love to know if they still live there and what their address is.
Rita was the Daughter of my husbands step father from Bacup in Lancashire but we have lost touch over the years
I look forward to hearing from someone who knows Rita.

| My father is Phillip Harold Fraser. He was youngest sibling. Oldest was Elliott Nathaniel, and other was Donald. Sisters were Marie, Lou and Edith. Father was Alexander grant Fraser. His Father was James Terrance Fraser. His Father was Richard Fraser born Petersburg, VA in 1812. Richard had a brother Duncan Fraser born 1809 in Kirkhill, Inverness Scotland. We believe the Father was William and Mother Margaret. We also believe the William was connected to a John and a Alexander Fraser. There was a trip back to Scotland by William and John to defend their right to property they believed to be theirs rightfully as heirs but lost. I am having hard time connecting back to Scotland from Richard as records were destroyed in fire in Petersburg, VA. Richard married Georgiana Moncrief. There are Grants in the family also.
