Hi,
I am researching the Williams family in Pontypool.
They were supposed to have the "THREE CRANES HOTEL" in Pontypool.
Edward Jabez Alexander Williams was the owner of the pub.
His son, with the same names, was supposed to have done some military service in India. He left India in approximately 1877 for South Africa.

I wondered if any one can help me my gg grandfather Cornelius Harrison was a Pin and Rivet Manufacturer in Aston Warwickshire and before in Gloucester about 1850 - 1874.
He was married to Ann Matilda Hyde.Who later moved to Surrey when Cornelius died.
On my g grandfather's wedding certificate he wrote his father's occupation as Gun Lock Maker. So was it anything to do with the pin and rivets of guns?
Does anyone know what a Pin and Rivet Manufacturer was or know anything of this family.
